Pesach is Coming
Greetings Families,
This week was a highlight of the year for me as I walked around all of the classrooms. From the model Seders to the highly detailed Haggadahs all the children and Morahs poured their hearts into; the deep understanding, engagement, and connection the children feel is palpable across the school. Every year it is beautiful to be a witness to, but this year has truly stood out to me. The children are so excited to show you everything they have learned.
This holiday really is about "telling it to your children!" I encourage you to really engage with them about the laws, stories, and customs at the Seders and over the entire eight days.
I want to thank all the staff for the tremendous effort and creative ways of teaching Pesach in every classroom. The children absolutely loved it and clearly took it all in!

Dear Caterpillar Families,
I can not believe Pesach is around the corner. Caterpillars learned so much about this holiday and another miracle happened to Jewish people . Caterpillars learned by having an Emona to Hashem, we will be ok and he will be with us all the time. Our smart Caterpillars were so excited and shouting to answer their Morah's questions at circle time and we are so proud of them that they love to learn. They know the holiday songs and story of this holiday very well. When the Morah was talking about the separate dishes on Pesach, Devorah Leah said, but we still can use our scissors and buttons. Caterpillars made their own Matzah by patting and rolling it and experiencing the difference between challah and matzah. We used the yeast in the water with flour in one bowl and in the other bowl just water and flour. Caterpillars noticed the bowl that had the yeast-raised, and everything that would raise was Chametz on Pesach. Hope you enjoy the holiday with your friends and family.

Hello Ladybug Families,
We had a wonderful month learning and celebrating Pesach in our classroom. We are so excited to bring our projects home. We look forward to showing off all of our knowledge at the seder table.
In the academic realm, writing and reading-related activities were daily pursuits, involving both group and individual work. Number recognition, number writing, and correct numeral formation all receive constant attention.
As a last note, our garden is looking great! The children have been taking great care of it. The tomato plant has grown from 6.5 inches to 10 inches tall! What fun it is to learn about Hashem’s beautiful creations!

Hello, Butterfly families,
This week we got to enjoy plenty of activities. We continued learning all about Pesach! We got to make a picture of Moshe floating in the Nile river to use at the seder in maggid to tell the story. We got to take purple liquid paint and squirt it on our paper with our 4 glasses of wine/grape juice. We had our model seder where we learned the 15 steps, made the special brachot, ate karpos and maror, and had our 4 cups of grape juice. We made Matzah this week and learned the difference between how challah and matzah are made. We have been practicing singing Mah Nishtana every day so we can know it for our Seders. We are sending home a really special Keara (seder plate) to play and enjoy at the Seder and a beautiful individualized
Haggadah. As well as a special cup and saltwater bowl for the seder. They worked so hard on all their crafts and can’t wait to use them. We hope everyone enjoys their break and has an amazing Pesach! Looking forward to seeing everyone in 2 weeks!
